Hello, we are Sue & Steve Farmer and live in Dunstable, Bedfordshire with our young son Joshua.

We currently share our house with three beautiful Golden Retrievers.

Sue had her first Golden Retriever called Toby in 1980.

Toby was bred by Sue's Auntie who first set up Khadiman Golden Retrievers back in the 1960's.

Toby lived for nearly 13 years and Sue looked forward to the day when she would be able to own another Golden Retriever and maybe even try her hand at breeding Golden Retrievers.

In the summer of 2001 Poppy arrived.  Poppy was a Messano puppy and is a wonderful, gentle example of the breed.

In 2003 we decided to have a companion for Poppy and we bought another Messano puppy who we named Rosie.  (Poppy and Rosie are half sisters).

Rosie proved to be another beautiful gentle girl, and in 2005 we decided to have a litter of puppies from her.

This was the start of what is turning out to be an exciting and satisfying hobby.

Our girls are an integral part of our family and, as such live in our house with us. Our puppies are brought up in the home environment and benefit greatly from this. They are therefore socialised with the older dogs and conditioned to all of the house hold noises, such as washing machines, hoovers and children.
